I would like to take this opportunity to share with you all what actually happened a few days ago. The short version is, we trusted the wrong guy with the developments of the DEX and also the IFO and he stole from all of us.
Now let's get into some more detail:
The developer had full access to developments of BankSwap, which allowed him, to withdraw all funds from the IFO once it had been completed. He did this fully knowing he would hurt innocent people and the project. The funds in this IFO were meant to further strengthen Crobank's position in the market and to further grow our already growing ecosystem.
I would like to stress that at no point any other funds outside of the IFO were in any danger. He solely had access to the IFO funds.
Detailed WalkThrough
On 21st March 2022, a massive sale happened for the $BANK token, one that was not supposed to happen. A total of 100K $BANK had been withdrawn from the IFO and sold on the open market.
The rogue individual told me to whitelist his address, under false pretense, to be able to withdraw $BANK tokens from the IFO itself as part of the process.
This was a mistake on my end and I take full responsibility for it.
This was done so, in the process of setting everything up, he could withdraw $BANK from IFO and then deposit it into the dual farms for BankSwap ( as planned ahead of time ).
What happened after:
It all happened pretty quickly after that, he withdrew the WCRO IFO and also BANK IFO into his wallet. He then swapped all of the tokens for stable coin USDT. He then use any swap to bridge all the funds out onto Binance Smart Chain and also Ethereum. Currently, the funds are sat in 2 wallets, one on Ethereum ( ~ 73K USDT ) and Binance Smart Chain ( $35K USDT ).

What CroBank Is Doing Moving Forward
We will be proceeding as planned with BankSwap, but this time with a new developer, hence the delay. The rogue individual, A you might have noticed, has caused a setback for us.
Hence, we will be bootstrapping the initial liquidity with the development funds ( ~10K worth of CRO ). We will continue to build from there, launching new products to give value to the $BS token.
There will be a compensation plan for those who committed their tokens during the IFO, read below
The team is very dedicated to the project and as you can see from Telegram and Discord is always there for everyone in any timezone.
On top of that, to ensure the security of the dex, we will be doing an audit before the launch. Also, as an extra precaution, the new developer has doxxed himself to the team to ensure that what happened to BankSwap will not happen again.
This is the updated timeline due to the setback that we have encountered. We will redeploy contracts and rebuild the frontend, hence the delay in launch.
